Who runs the site, and accepting these terms
This website is run by Ulterior Safety. You can reach us at [email protected].
By using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Use of the site
- You may read the site and share links to it.
- You may quote it fairly, with attribution to Ulterior Safety and a link to the page.
- You may not misrepresent it: for example, by presenting its words or figures as your own, or as results Ulterior Safety did not measure.
- You may not scrape it at volume, or make automated requests heavy enough to affect the site for anyone else.
- You may not use it to break the law.
No warranty: the site is information only
The site describes Ulterior Safety’s research and the company’s current status. It is not a product or a service, and it promises nothing about safety. Ghost is at research stage: there is no public API or product release yet.
Please do not rely on the site to protect any system. Nothing on it is a substitute for your own safety measures, your own evaluation of a model, or your own professional advice.
Results and figures
Figures on the site are research results measured on held-out tests, reported with the benchmark and false-alarm bar each one was measured at. They are not a claim that the approach is fit for any particular deployment, and they describe one model family. The results, their limits and the method are set out on the research page.
Deception
Catching deception and scheming is a research direction, not a capability. Nothing on the site should be read as saying otherwise.
Intellectual property
The content, wording, design and brand of this site belong to Ulterior Safety. You may quote the site fairly, with attribution. Third-party benchmarks named on the site (JailbreakBench and XSTest) are named only to identify the tests used, and remain the property of their authors.
Third-party links and hosting
The contact form is handled by Formspree, and the site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. The privacy notice explains what those services see and how your data is handled. The site also links to other sites; Ulterior Safety does not control them and is not responsible for their content.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the site is provided “as is”, and Ulterior Safety is not liable for loss or damage arising from decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The date at the top of this page says when they last did. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
Governing law
Governing law and jurisdiction: to be confirmed. No jurisdiction has been chosen yet.
